Parmesan Bacon Crisps

A quick and easy snack for you forward-thinking visionaries that believe potato chips and the like have neither enough cheese nor enough bacon in them. Such a snack, like these Parmesan Bacon Crisps, deserve an equally quick and easy introduction. Now on to the good part!


  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 3 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Medium skillet
  • Small bowl
  • Baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Hunger
  • Awesomeness


  1. Be hungry.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 °F.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat, turning, until very crisp. Drain on paper towels until cool, then finely chop.
  4. Stir the bacon, parmesan, flour, chili powder in a small bowl.
  5. Divide the bacon-cheese mixture into 8 mounds on the baking sheet and flatten each one into about a 3 inch round.
  6. Bake until golden brown and the cheese melts, about 7 minutes.
  7. Let cool on the baking sheet 5 minutes, then carefully transfer to a rack using a thin spatula and let cool completely.
  8. Eat alone, with favorite dip, top with diced veggies, or crumble onto a salad.
  9. Bask in your newfound awesomeness. Do not share.
